About Us

Marti Spencer, Charles Hedgepath, Whitney WaltersWe think that the Reedy River Jazz & Wine Festival is long overdue. This style of music has enjoyed incredible support from Upstate audiences for years, and we felt it was definitely time to reward those music-lovers with an upscale, talent-rich event where they could sit back with a succulent glass of wine and a scrumptious plate of food and enjoy a phenomenal and diverse lineup of amazing musicians. With your support, we know we can grow this into one of the finest jazz festivals in the entire region. And it all starts today.

Greenville has it all; the one thing I thought this great community was missing was a jazz and wine festival. We have uncelebrated great jazz talent that needs to be showcased and incredible representation of vineyards from around the world through distributors like Grapevine, Grassroots, Southern Wine and Spirits, Carolina Wine Source and Schreiber Wines. Bringing this all together in support of the Ronald McDonald House seems like a natural fit.

I’m so excited about being involved in all aspects of this event.  As a performer, The Reedy River Jazz & Wine Festival provides the opportunity for me to reach new audiences and an added bonus of raising money for the Ronald McDonald House of the Carolinas.  Music is a gift and is for all to share!  I can’t wait to see the positive effect this festival will bring for our community year in and year out.  You can follow me at www.charleshedgepath.com and look for my upcoming release “Spirituals.”

Marketing Consultant
As both a musician and a business woman, I’m thrilled to be a part of planning and performing in Greenville’s first jazz festival. By day, I’m a mild-mannered marketing consultant. By night, I’m a singer/songwriter who fronts three bands and wants to make music my career. I just released my first CD of my original songs. It’s always wonderful and inspiring when I can combine many of my talents to support something I really believe in, and this jazz festival is just that. Check out my website: www.whitneywalters.net.
